Agolde Medal For Denim Shorts

Brittney McMillin

IMG_0347.jpg

Living in LA, denim shorts have always been a staple in my wardrobe. They are my go to piece ALL summer long. I’ve tried everything from a Vintage Levi flea market find, to Australian brand One Teaspoon, to all of my favorite denim lines, including brands like Rag & Bone, J Brand and Current Elliot.  I’ve even tried surfer brands like Billabong and Roxy. My complaints stayed consistent- they ride up, they're too short and hug in all the wrong places, the wash wasn’t quite right and the denim was too stiff for comfort. In short, it’s been an exhausting mission. My search for the perfect denim shorts has been years in the making and I am thrilled to say, the search is over!

Meet The Parker Vintage Cut Off Short by Agolde!

They are the perfect cut- not too short, not too long. They are just the right amount of fray/distress and the denim feels like I’ve owned them for years. They pretty much come in any wash you could ever want and the best part is that they seem to fit EVERY body type. There is nothing like finding a great pair of jean shorts just in time for summer!

Lauren Bushnell's Coachella Style

Brittney McMillin

We've always been big fans of Lauren Bushnell, dating all the way back to her Bachelor days! Not only is she completely adorable, but she is the sweetest, most down to earth person ever! We had the best time styling her. Lauren was a first time Coachella go-er and wanted some help getting her outfits together. Between the various parties she was attending and the extreme desert climate of the actual festival, finding the right combination of cute & comfortable was our goal.

Here are a few of the looks we created, hope you see something that inspires you if you're heading out for weekend 2 of Coachella, or Stagecoach next weekend!

Spring Style

Brittney McMillin

Spring 2018 fashion comes with a hint of the 90's, and while many 90's trends are not vintage enough to be considered cool, others are coming in HOT this season. Think Clueless! We're talking layered spaghetti tanks, plaids & pastels. This Spring it’s all about the highs and lows, and not just the price, we’ve seen it true with fabrics, heels height and color hues.

Spring Color Palette

As always, color is key this season, both bold and pastel. We are especially into lavender and all hues of green.

90's Inspired Accessories

Stay playful with your accessories, think oversized earrings, fanny packs, and retro sunnies. Butterfly clips (Ha!), maybe not, but remember stretchy comb headbands?  Oh, they are back!

It's time to get funky and grab a pair of colorful lenses. Don't worry, you don't look crazy, AS IF!

Spring Sneakers

Being stylish doesn't mean you can't be comfortable this season, especially when the sneaker game is this on point.  We've shared a few of our favorites for Spring.

THE WEDDING

STYLELAB co-founder Allison Macer & Maxwell Vaughan had a dream wedding on 12/16/17. You will be seeing a lot of this wedding but here's a little sneak peak!

It all went down at The Parker in Palm Springs, CA. The weather was 75 and sunny with early cloud coverage which allowed for perfect lighting so the amazing photographer Jana Williams could work her magic. Our glowing bride wore a stunning Marchesa gown, the perfect silver Gianvito Rossi heels and was covered in diamonds from her parents and handsome groom.

This weekend long celebration was perfectly executed by Robin Baab and her team from Ro & Co Events. No detail was overlooked, from the Coconut seat assignments to the surf board guestbook this wedding truly represented the couple.

Felisa, owner of Of The Flowers worked closely with Ali to create the perfect mix of tropical winter florals with a chic Palm Springs flair.

We danced the night away to jams by DJ Smiles Davis and topped the night off with a surprise Silent Disco from Ali's four brothers.
